Harmony Choir is a group that sings 3 or 4 part music and performs two Sundays a month, usually the first and the third Sundays of the month. They rehearse during Christian Ed. time three Sundays a month. All Who are part singers, or who just love to praise the Lord through song, are welcome to join. Fish Fusion is a praise & worship band. They play contemporary Christian music ranging from Praise & Worship to Christian Rock. Fish Fusion plays for the 2nd Sunday of each month at 8:00am at FUMC. Jim and Cathy started singing and playing together while attending bluegrass jams several years ago. One of their mutual friends said to keep playing together when he heard them play “Will the Circle be Unbroken”. We consider this the start of Holy Crowe Music and have been playing together ever since.
About a year later, we moved to Grant County and were practicing outside of our home in Fennimore. Our welcoming neighbor heard us, popped over, and invited us to the church he and his family attended. We immediately felt welcome and began playing at the Fennimore UMC. Shortly after, we were also invited to play at Stitzer UMC.
We never thought we would make it to where we are at now or be at our present location, but we had a calling to learn the original bluegrass mountain gospel songs. Each time we play for church, we dig into old recordings and look for songs that are not the norm. We look forward to playing every 4th Sunday at the Fennimore and Stitzer church. “The songs that move you the most, let us smile the greatest.”
