United Women in Faith - Fennimore UMC

Our Purpose

United Methodist Women shall be a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship: and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.

We meet every other month on the fourth Wednesday at 6:30 PM. We may have a short story or reading, snacks and a short meeting to take care of current business. Please join us. We’d love to see you there!

Here are a few things we do…

Donate monthly to the Food Pantry at the Depot – Exchange/Thrift Store.
Work at the Depot – Exchange and Thrift Store checking/pricing items
Creation Team – Sew and Tie Covers for sale and to donate
Cheer Plates assembled and delivered in December each year to all our members over 80
March Birthday Bingo at Divine Rehabilitation Center – games/snacks
Sunshine Committee – Sends Cards to our members and others in care facilities
Send Monthly Birthday greetings to those at Divine Rehabilitation Center
VBS – check-in/registration and meal
Annual UMW Pledge/donation
Redbird Mission yearly donation
Family Promise donation
Fall Salad Luncheon
